Cedar Hill ISD is continuing its staff recognition program called HOOPLA (Honoring Our Outstanding Paras, Lead Educators and Administrators.) Each quarter, CHISD will acknowledge up to 5 exceptional staff members who are living the CHISD leadership definition beyond the scope of their assigned responsibilities, and based off of the role specific behaviors.

HOOPLA Winners:

• are announced quarterly, April, August & December of each year
• receive a $50 gift card courtesy of the Cedar Hill Education Foundation
• receive a lively announcement/surprise and plenty of “HOOPLA”
• receive a Leadership definition swag item (mousepad, lunch bag etc.)
• are recognized at the April, August & December Board of Trustees meetings
• are featured in an article in Focus Daily News
• are eligible for the annual Heart of A CHampion, CHampion of Empowerment & CHampion of Excellence Awards
