Cooper, Elegant Princess Diamonds Win Cedar Hill’s Got Talent

Collegiate Prep Elementary first grader Lance Cooper wowed the audience at Cedar Hill’s Got Talent with his piano skills to win first place in the Elementary category.

The Bessie Coleman Middle School Elegant Princess Diamonds won the Secondary category with their dance routine.

Each of the participants and audience members had fun at the annual event, which is part of Families First Week.

“We had an opportunity to welcome some very talented scholars who showcased a wide variety of skills,” said Cedar Hill ISD Director Family And Community Engagement (FACE) Alicia Davis, who coordinates the event.

In the Elementary category, the TNT Dollz from Waterford Oaks Elementary placed second with their dance routine, and Lake Ridge third grader Eva Dankesreiter won third place (piano).

Cedar Hill High’s Faith Byrd was second in the Secondary category, followed by the CHHS duo of Max and Zeke, who performed an original song.
