Smally Earns 6A-11 Baseball Defensive Player of the Year Honors

Cedar Hill High School senior outfielder/pitcher Chris Smally was named the District 6A-11 Defensive Player of the Year.

Junior teammate Deuce Middleton earned First Team All-District Honors at shortstop for the Longhorns, who finished 10-15-1 this season with season sweeps of Dallas Skyline and DeSoto.

Sophomore Denver Gillin was named Second Team All-District as an outfielder.

Senior Ivan Pamatz and junior Anthony Luna were named Honorable Mention All-District Pitchers. Sophomores Julian Gonzalez (First Base) and Reginald Samuel (Third Base) earned Honorable Mention accolades.
