Kyra Gulley knew that school nursing was the right environment for her.
“I chose school nursing when I decided to go back to school to complete my Registered Nurse,” Gulley said. “The schedule worked really well, and I love children, so it was perfect for me.”
She chose Cedar Hill ISD specifically because her best friend taught in the district and shared the news that they were looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
“I chose to become a nurse after always caring for my mother at a young age,” Gulley said. “I just fell in love with helping and taking care of others.”
Gulley earned her LVN at Dallas Nursing Institute and is currently pursuing her RN from the University of Texas At Arlington.
“I enjoy being able to do my job while establishing great relationships with co-workers, parents, and scholars,” Gulley said.
