Cedar Hill ISD Announces 2020-2021 Campus Teachers of the Year

 

(CEDAR HILL, TEXAS) The Cedar Hill Independent School District recently announced its 2020-2021 Campus Teachers of the Year.

“We have 12 very deserving CHISD Campus Teachers of the Year who persevered during what was a very challenging year for educators everywhere,” Cedar Hill ISD Superintendent Dr. Gerald Hudson said. “Please join me in congratulating these exceptional educators.”

The Campus Teachers of the Year are Olaide Ajakaye (High Pointe Elementary Fifth Grade Science), Kellie Burchfield (Collegiate Prep Elementary Fifth Grade Science), Deldrick Burley (Permenter Middle Sixth Grade Math), Stephanie Burnam (Collegiate High School Career Prep Teacher), Ebonie Davis (Bray Elementary First Grade), Samantha Dunaway (Collegiate Academy Middle Theater), Tiara Frazier (Waterford Oaks Elementary Fourth Grade Math), Carlece Jackson (Bessie Coleman Middle Science), Aaron Kennedy (Cedar Hill High Graphic Arts), Audrey Peterbark-Ross (Lake Ridge Elementary Music),  Megan Rios (Plummer Elementary Kindergarten) and Maria Rosero-Wilches (Highlands Elementary Pre-K Dual Language).

The Elementary Teacher of the Year and the Secondary Teacher of the Year will be announced at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 29 via the CHISD Facebook page.

The two District Teachers of the Year will each win $1,000, courtesy of the Cedar Hill ISD Education Foundation (CHEF).
