Angele Hodges, Director

Angele Hodges has more than 22 years of education experience. Prior to joining CHISD, she held principalships at Glencrest 6th Grade school and Morningside Middle School in Fort Worth. At Morningside she created transformational gains. When she took the position the Texas Education Agency rated the campus Improvement Required. Her efforts moved the campus to Met Standard, the state’s highest rating at that time.

As a transformational leader, Hodges has always had her visions set on what impacts children and families beyond the walls of the school. With the initiative to leverage resources, garner support and empower children and families within the community in which her campus resided, she completed the Harlem Children’s Zone Practitioner’s Institute in Harlem, New York. Additionally, she was selected to study at Harvard University for a summer leadership conference.

Hodges is married and the proud mother of two. She enjoys traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
