Career & Technical Education (CTE)
Cedar Hill ISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is committed to preparing and growing our scholars to succeed in college and career readiness through instilling the ideals of professionalism, leadership, and service.
Cedar Hill ISD provides K-12 scholars the opportunity to explore or enroll in CTE courses that integrate rigorous and relevant standards to changing industry demands.
All of our scholars have the opportunity to participate and compete in their aligned career technical student organization (DECA, HOSA, SkillsUSA, TAFE, BPA). This provides a fun and engaging way to extend their skills and thinking.
Work-based learning opportunities are also delivered in the areas of shadowing, field experience, internships and on-site customer service.
Aligned industry credentials and certifications can also be attained in most programs of study.
