To help improve communications and strengthen Board relations with the community, Cedar Hill ISD has launched Longhorn Community News.

We want our community to stay engaged and informed about what is happening in our schools and the decisions being made by district leadership. Longhorn Community News provides an easy, quick way to receive important updates right on your phone or computer.

Families can sign up directly through ParentSquare, where a short form has been posted. It takes just a moment to complete, and once submitted, you’ll be added to the email distribution list to begin receiving updates. Click HERE to sign up to receive important CHISD news and updates.

The Cedar Hill ISD Communications Department will notify subscribers when a Board meeting has been scheduled and when the agenda is available online.

The CHISD Board of Trustees holds its regular meeting on the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Cannady Cedar Hill Room of the Municipal Government Center, located at 285 Uptown Blvd., Cedar Hill, Texas 75104. The public session of the meeting begins at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Board meetings are open to the public, except for the closed session portion of the agenda. These meetings allow the Board to conduct district business and discuss important matters with each other and with staff.
