Communications and Engagement

Communication & Engagement Services offers a full range of creative services, crisis communication and strategic planning designed to share the message of the Cedar Hill Independent School District.

We work to communicate the mission and goals of the district as it seeks to raise the academic achievement of each student. The Communications & Engagement team is committed to providing timely, effective communications that engage our students, parents, employees and community members.

Our award-winning department provides a wide array of services and consists of the following divisions:

• General and Crisis communication 
• Media Relations - handling media inquiries and promoting the district to local, state & national media
• Marketing and Advertising - writing and designing flyers, direct mail pieces, digital marketing campaigns and other advertisements  
• Digital Communications - oversee content for chisd.com and the district’s social media channels
• Special Event Planning - promotion of the district-wide events  (Convocation, Teacher of the Year, Back to School Rally)
• Public Information Requests - manage and distribute information as requested
