Temporary Disability Leave
Any full-time employee shall be eligible for Temporary Disability leave if you have exhausted FMLA or do not qualify for FMLA. The maximum length of TDL shall be 180 calendar days including weekends and holidays. It must be taken as a continuous block of time and may not be taken intermittently or on a reduced schedule. It shall run concurrently with FLMA.
TDL is only for employee medical leave and does not cover the mental or physical disability of a family member.
While TDL does protect your job, employees must use their own earned time off.
