High School Summer School

Cedar Hill ISD is pleased to offer summer sessions for high school students. Consisting of two programs, this session is an opportunity for currently enrolled students to receive intervention prior to EOC retesting and/or to recover unearned credits from the regular school session.

Summer school programs for students who attended Cedar Hill High School, and Cedar Hill Collegiate High School will be held at Cedar Hill Collegiate  High School at 1515 W. Beltline Road, Cedar Hill, TX 75104. The office phone number is 469-272-2021. Dates and times for summer school will vary based on the program and course offerings (see chart below). Students are required to register for summer school programs at the high school campus. Registration information will be sent directly to parents and families AND may be acquired through the counseling office

Credit Recovery

A $35 per semester credit fee is required to be enrolled in Credit Recovery Classes. All fees are due upon registration for the Summer Credit Recovery Program. Students that miss more than two days from a class will be dropped from the class and will not receive credit. ALL COURSEWORK MUST BE COMPLETED AT THE CLOSE OF THE SUMMER SESSION TO RECEIVE CREDIT Refunds will not be awarded.   

Please be aware that Credit Recovery will not be offered during the school day to 9th -11th graders in the 2023-2024 school year. Also note, Credit Recovery courses offered during Twilight School in the 2023-24 school year will be at a cost of $50 per semester credit.
