Meet Saniyah McGrew, Teen Superintendent 2024 - 2025

Cedar Hill Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Gerald Hudson selected Cedar Hill High School freshman Saniyah McGrew as the 2023-2024 CHISD Teen Superintendent.

McGrew, the oldest of four siblings often known as the “McGrew Crew”, has attended Cedar Hill ISD since Kindergarten.

When McGrew was a Bray Elementary scholar, she was selected for the Cedar Hill Library Advisory Board. The new library is expected to be completed next year.

McGrew won the CHISD Spelling Bee as a seventh grader and finished second as an eighth grader, qualifying for the Dallas County Spelling Bee both times.

She was selected to attend a National Storytelling Conference in Utah last fall.
