Cell Phone Policy Update

To help all Longhorns stay focused and successful in the classroom, Cedar Hill ISD updated its Personal Electronic Communications Guidelines in July, 2025. These updates align with House Bill 1481, passed during the 89th Texas Legislative Session, which supports limiting cell phone use during instructional time across public schools in Texas.

The guidelines are designed to reduce distractions, promote engagement, and support a safe and productive learning environment for all students.
