SCHOOL STARTS AUGUST 12, 2026
Things to do before the first day:
- Complete registration information for all new and returning students. You can begin the registration process at enroll.chisd.net. You can also register in person at the Lacy Enrollment Center | 504 East Belt Line Rd, Cedar Hill, TX 75104
Monday, Thursday, Friday
8 a.m. 4 p.m. (lunch 12-1 p.m.)
Tuesday & Wednesday
8 a.m. - 7 p.m. (Lunch 12 - 1 p.m.)
- Sign up for transportation. If your student needs transportation, complete the 2026-2027 Bus Registration Google Doc.
- Attend the Back to School Rally on August 8, 2026! Enroll early and SKIP THE LINE for free backpacks and school supplies. Students must be enrolled in CHISD to be eligible for free supplies.
- Check your school supply lists.
- Meet your teachers!
- August 10 | 6-8 p.m. | Elementary Meet the Teacher Night
- August 11 | 6-8 p.m. | Secondary Meet the Teacher Night
- Check the calendar and plan vacations and appointments on school holidays.
In CHISD, registration is required for all CHISD scholars returning and new to district. Registration is NOW open for new and returning scholars.
