Hello!  I am JoLynn Maddox and would like to welcome you to Permenter Middle School in Cedar Hill!

I have been in Cedar Hill my entire teaching career and have loved all 30 years!  I started as an elementary teacher and then moved to the middle school after 14 years. I am currently an instructional coach for Language Arts and Social Studies.   I am passionate about helping young people reach their fullest potential.  I enjoy being with this age group each day. They make each day different and exciting!  I work with amazing people and together we work to become better each day for our students and our community.

I am married and have two sons, both of which graduated from Cedar Hill schools.  We have lived in Cedar Hill for 33 years and have no intention of leaving.  This is a great community with an outstanding school system.  I am blessed to be an educator in this community!
