Chartwells K12 continues to bring technology to the forefront of the dining experience to help students and parents make informed choices. We understand you want to know about the food your students eat – the ingredients and how it’s prepared. Nutrislice, our menu software platform, provides easy, up-to-date and immediate access to all Cedar Hill ISD Community School menus. You’ll have access to food descriptions, nutrition and allergen information.

Chartwells remains focused on feeding kids, taking care of our associates and supporting the Cedar Hill ISD community. We recognize that the mealtime experience at each school may look very different this year. As your students return to school please know that Chartwells is committed to feeding the students of Cedar Hill ISD in the safest way possible. Chartwells will support all scenarios and solutions designed to meet the needs of the changing school environment

    Longhorn Lunches

The Cedar Hill ISD Child Nutrition Department & Chartwells K-12 are committed to providing the Longhorn experience by serving students and staff a quality meal, adhering to the Dietary Guide set by the Texas Department of Agriculture, to maintain a commitment to fiscal responsibility and to continuously improve on the nutritional integrity of our program.

The U.S. Secretary of Agriculture has announced that school districts can continue to offer free breakfast and lunch meals to children 18 and under through December 31, 2020.

What does this mean for you? CHISD can continue to serve free meals to all children through our Grab and Go Meals and Longhorn Lunches to Go. There will be NO need to show proof of income or pay for breakfast and lunch when virtual learning begins on September 8th. This unprecedented move will help ensure that no matter what the situation is on-the-ground, children will have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Serving Up Happy

We believe that happy cafeterias start with people. In order to bring creativity and joy to each meal, we have created programs that encourage fun and discovery. Our Discovery Kitchen events engage students through an interactive experience to learn about food and nutrition.

We are excited to serve up happy and healthy to our Cedar Hill Community!
