Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lori Cook. I am excited to welcome you to the 2022/ 2023 school year. This is my first year with Cedar Hill ISD and my 33rd year in education. All of my experience has been in the area of serving students with special needs.  This year I will serve Permenter Middle School as a special education inclusion teacher.

I am originally from Oklahoma but I have lived in Texas for almost 30 years. I am married and I have three daughters and three granddaughters. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music and watching college football (Oklahoma Sooners). 

I believe that education  is a true partnership between the school and home. It is my sincere hope that you will partner with me to create an environment in which your student will grow both academically and socially. If we work together, we can lay the groundwork forfor a successful 2022/ 2023 school year and beyond.
