Biography: I am very excited and humbled to introduce myself as your 5th Grade Math and Science Bilingual teacher! I recently graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Bilingual Education in May 2022, making me a first year teacher. I am very proud to say that I attended Highlands Elementary as well from Pre-K up to 4th grade. My sister, Monserrat Miralda, is the Kindergarten Dual Language teacher at Highlands Elementary and has been working for the district for 8 years. I am looking forward to collaborating and building a community with all students and families! I am sure we are going to have a fantastic year with your support and knowledge!

¡Estoy muy emocionado y humilde de presentarme como su maestro Bilingüe de Matemáticas y Ciencias de 5º grado! Recientemente me gradué de la Universidad de Texas en Austin con un título en Educación Bilingüe en Mayo de 2022, haciéndome un maestro de primer año. Estoy muy orgulloso de decir que asistí a Highlands Elementary también desde Pre-K hasta el 4to grado. Mi hermana, Monserrat Miralda, es la maestra de Kindergarten Dual Language en Highlands Elementary y ha estado trabajando para el distrito durante 8 años.
