This special event honors both students with outstanding academic accomplishments and the Shining Star Educator selected by each honored student as the district staff member that was a special contributor to that students success. Students are introduced and then they present their Shining Star Educator. Student and Educator both receive an award that celebrates being honored as a Shining Star.
