Parents must know: In order for your child to get the most out of their learning this year it is important that students attend class every day. Students should arrive in class ready to work cooperatively and independently, keeping the Longhorn Essentials in mind. Nightly reading is encouraged and highly recommended for all scholars. (at least 30 minutes each night.)
Hello Bray Longhorns!
I am a native Texan, originally from the Houston area. This year marks my 11th year as a Longhorn. As a teacher, I want to encourage and help children to reach their fullest potential. I want my students to realize that they are all different, and understand that diversity is a good thing. I believe that these differences makes a great class. A class that together push each other to the limit as we acheive greatness.
Prior to becoming a longhorn I taught Nutrition Education to low income families and pregnant teens for 16 years. I have been married to my husband Karl for 46 years, we have 4 daughters, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. During my leisure time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, taking care of my farm animals, and spending time with my family and friends.
