Mrs. Traci Bragg

I am honored and excited to serve as the Associate Principal of The Early College Academy at Cedar Hill High School.  My career in education spans more than twenty years, beginning with teaching advanced placement social studies in Arkansas.  I was nominated as teacher of the year and selected as one of eight teachers to write curriculum for the National Japanese American museum in Los Angeles, California.  I earned my Master's degree in school counseling from Henderson State University and relocated to Texas, serving as a school counselor at Lancaster High School.  In 2007, I opened the Richardson ISD STEM Academy at L.V. Berkner High School and in 2013, I was the first counselor for the Grand Prairie ISD Fine Arts Academy.  I joined the Cedar Hill ISD family as an assistant principal last school year after completing my certification from Lamar University.  In each school I have always held students to a high standard and worked with families to navigate a solid plan for post-secondary education. This campus will be no different. I strongly believe that we will achieve our goals.  Our campus theme this year is #ExpectExcellence!
