• Dallas County Promise has partnered with the Dallas County Community College District to guarantee tuition for all Cedar Hill High School 2019 graduates beginning college in the fall of 2019 at a DCCCD college. Scholars have up to three years to complete an associates degree or certification.

    1. By Feb. 8th-Complete the Dallas County Promise Pledge-the pledge is not an obligation to attend a Dallas County Community College. This step is just a way to let Dallas County Promise and DCCCD know you are interest and to collect your contact information. DallasCountyPromise.org
    2. By Feb. 8th-Complete an application to a DCCCD college, through ApplyTexas.org.
    3. By March 8th-Submit a completed FAFSA, with a  DCCCD college listed.
    4. By July 31st-Enroll/register for classes.

     

    In order to be prepared for any college there are some additional things you will need to do so here is your checklist.

     

    • Dallas County Promise Pledge 
    • Complete admissions applications (include at least one DCCCD college)
    • Complete FAFSA (list at least one DCCCD college)
    • Complete testing (ACT/SAT/ TSIA)
    • Meningitis Vaccination
