Mrs. Eugenia Stodola

Welcome back Longhorns for an exciting 2019-2020 school year!

I will be working at Bessie Coleman this year with students in Math Resource classes  for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.  I will be located in room 209. I have been in education for more than 20 years, ranging from teaching Pre-K 4 to a Geology instructor at UTA. Aside from education, I have previously worked as an exploration geologist in the petroleum industry, served on the Cedar Hill Zula B. Wylie Library Board, and volunteered in several areas of the community.

I attended undergraduate school at the University of South Florida, Natural Science/Geology. My required summer session of  Geology Field Camp was at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas.

I attended graduate school at The University of Texas at Arlington, Geology.

This past summer I was able to visit my daughter up in Annapolis (she will be attending grad school at Johns Hopkins), and my son, who recently moved back to Texas (Houston). After graduating from West Point, and then serving in the Army with the 82nd Airborne, he is now working at MD Anderson. My son and his wife will be having the first grand-baby for our family the end of September. I cannot tell you how excited we are!

Hoping for a great and exciting year for everyone!
