Degrees and Certifications:
Hello, Longhorn Parents! I'm Mrs. Todd. Welcome to Third Grade!
I am so excited to work with you and your scholar. It's going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventure and I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us. I thought you might like to know a little about me.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Reginald. We have four children and a dog (Bryantt, Raija, Raile, and RJ...and Charlie) who are in college, 8th and 6th grades. They take up most of my "free time." Some of my hobbies I enjoy are cooking, reading, and watching football and basketball.
I am from a small town called Stephens, AR. I attended Southern Arkansas University (Magnolia, AR) where I received my B.S.E. in Early Childhood Education and my M.S.E. in Reading Education. I am my parents' middle child. I have an older brother who serves in the USAF and my younger brother serves in the USN.
This will be my seventeenth year teaching, with four years as a Longhorn. I have taught kindergarten and sixth grade. Most of my experience has been in third grade and I absolutely love this grade level! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my scholars. I attempt to teach with a passion for math and science so that my scholars develop a desire to become life long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need. I look forward to a great year together!
