Returning families may complete the entire enrollment application process online. Once you complete the form and upload your proof of residency, your student is registered.
What is the definition of a returning student?
If your student was enrolled on the last day of school in 2018, then your student is returning. If your student attended CHISD during the 2017-18 school year but transferred to another school outside of CHISD, they are new to the district.
Can I stop and start again?
Yes, you can save your application and complete it at a later date.
When does registration need to be completed?
Before the first day of school, Wednesday, Aug. 15.
What if I want to transfer my student to another school in the district?
Transfer requests are approved based upon availability and student academic records. To request a transfer, fill out this form.
What if I need help?
Campus registration staff are available. The fastest way to get a response is to email firstname.lastname@example.org. Emails sent before noon will be responded to before close of business.
What if I can’t upload my proof of residency?
You may hand deliver your document to your child's current campus.
How do I know when my returning student is registered?
If you have completed the process online and uploaded your proof of residency, your child is registered. If you requested a transfer, you will be contacted in August about the availability at your requested school.
How do I register my student for before and after school care?
Elementary students receive care before and after school on their campus. The fee-based program is managed by a company called Right at School. Click here to register.
When is the first day of school?
Wednesday, Aug. 15!
