    Pre-K/Kindergarten RoundUp

    Complete the steps below before attending Pre-K/Kindergarten Roundup.

    Full-Day Pre-K

    Pre-K students must be four years old on or before Sept. 1, 2018. There are no exceptions.

    Pre-K space is limited. Registration opens online Monday, April 2. To complete the process the campus must receive all qualifying documentation, last three pay stubs, SNAP award letter, etc.

    Required Documents

    The following documents are required to complete Pre-K enrollment and can be uploaded during to the online application or hand delivered to your preferred campus. 

    • Qualifying documents (last three pay stubs, SNAP award letter, see the complete list here)
    • Parent/Legal Guardian's Government Issued Photo Identification
    • Proof of Residency (a current electric, gas, water bill or lease agreement)
      Multiple family households where the parent/guardian does not have proof of residency documentation in their name will need to complete this dual residency form.
    • Student's Social Security Card
    • Student's Shot Record
    • Student's Certified Birth Certificate

    A student’s registration is not complete without all of the information above.

    Full-Day Kindergarten Registration

    To attend kindergarten, your child must be five years old on or before Sept. 1, 2018. There are no exceptions. If you have a child who has not been enrolled in kindergarten at any other school district, click here to enroll them. Current CHISD Pre-K students will receive a link to register for kindergarten before the end of the school year.

    The following documentation is required:

    • Parent/Legal Guardian's Government Issued Photo Identification
    • Proof of Residency (a current electric, gas, water bill or lease agreement)
      Multiple family households where the parent/guardian does not have proof of residency documentation in their name will need to complete this dual residency form.
    • Student's Social Security Card
    • Student's Shot Record
    • Student's Certified Birth Certificate
    • Student's Prior Year Report Card/Transcript (if they attended Pre-K at another school)

     

    Those requesting to transfer to a school from another district will be notified of their acceptance by the campus principal.
