Economically Disadvantaged
Students who qualify based upon based upon the household’s paycheck stubs MUST complete the Food Service application beginning in August 2021 and show Free/Reduced lunch status
Student meets the income guidelines to qualify for the national free/reduced lunch program
Last 3 paycheck stubs for ALL adults who are working in the household
OR
SNAP/TANF Award letter with student’s name and current dates
OR
Affidavit of No Income
English Language Learner
Student is unable to speak and comprehend the English language
Home Language Survey indicating anything other than English/English
AND
Oral testing that indicates need for services
Homeless under McKinney-Vento
Student is living in a temporary living situation due to emergency loss of housing
McKinney-Vento form completed and sent to Damian Patton
Dependent of an Active Duty member (includes injured or killed)
Student is a dependent of an active duty member of the armed forces or is a member of the armed forces who was injured or killed in action
Military ID
OR
Department of Defense Letter indicating benefits for injury or MIA/KIA
Currently or Formerly in the conservatorship of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
(aka Foster Care)
Student has previously been in the care of the Texas DFPS or is currently in the care of Texas DFPS

Dependent of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award
Student is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as a peace officer/firefighter, or emergency medical first responder
