• Sick Leave Pool

    Any CHISD employee who has exhausted all accumulated paid leave, who suffers from a catastrophic illness or injury may apply for the Sick Leave Pool. The pool will be established for that employee and will cease to exist when the employee no longer needs leave for the purpose requested, used the maximum number of days allowed under a pool, or exhausts all leave days donated to the sick leave pool.

    Employees wishing to donate to a designated pool may donate up to two (2) days of local leave.

    A maximum of 30 days may be contributed to a specific sick leave pool.
