  • Why STEM Education?

Texas is expected to have the second-highest percentage of the nation’s future STEM job opportunities. Currently in Texas, STEM programming exists in pockets and serves scholars through STEM elective courses that are generally available to gifted and talented students or those who are top performers.  In Cedar Hill ISD, we are shifting our focus so that all scholars are prepared to fill the STEM demand in our community, our state and our country.

    What is a STEM Ecosystem

A STEM Ecosystem brings together schools, businesses, community partners and higher education institutions to create environments that offer a rich array of learning opportunities for young people.
