I am grateful to serve the Bray Elementary School Community as principal for my second year!  This is my 21st year in education and I'm committed to Unlocking Every Longhorn's Potential.  I vow to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, community members and district leaders to provide scholars with a rigorous and memorable learning experience every day.  My vision for scholars is to inspire them to be resilient, productive citizens who lead, serve, and have success in school and life.  It is an honor to be a part of this journey with each of you.  

Before becoming a principal, I served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and academic associate principal.  With more than 11 years of instructional leadership, I am an educator first.  Throughout my tenure, I have had the privilege to work alongside talented educators and leaders to support scholars academically, socially, and emotionally.  

My educational background includes a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas A & M University at Commerce, a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Education grades K-8) from the University of Houston.  

During my leisure, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, and our families.  We are a close-knit family who find every reason to be together.  Outside of my family, I have a passion for dance.  Over the years, I have led multiple dance ministries and have shared my love of dance with my students.  The dance and cheer teams I have sponsored focused on movement, service, confidence, and teamwork.     

I'm looking forward to another amazing year with our Bray Community!
