Cedar Hill ISD offers a variety of insurance choices.
If you need ID cards, claim forms, list of providers, insurance company names, phone numbers, or other benefit information, please visit ThebenefitsHUB website at www.mybenefitshub.com/cedarhillisd. Simply click on a benefit option on the left side of the home page. If you do not find what you need, please click on the Contact Us button on the home page and you will receive a response within one business day. If this is an emergency and I am not available, you may contact Korina Moreno (bilingual), Veronica Morales (bilingual), or Debbie Walter at Financial Benefit Services at 469-385-4640 during normal business hours.
For specific TRS ActiveCare medical coverage not found on ThebenefitsHUB, you may visit the Aetna website at www.trsactivecareaetna.com or call customer services at 1-800-222-9205.
You may also email the Benefits Office at Kathy.Shaw@chisd.net. Your emails will be answered in the order they are received.
WORK-RELATED INJURIES: If you have experienced an on the job injury during normal business hours, please notify your direct supervisor and/or campus nurse for the appropriate injury notification paperwork and first aid treatment and assessment.
If you have an EMERGENCY relating to an on the job injury outside of normal operating hours AND your supervisor is not available, please send a text with your name, campus/department and request to 817-688-7900. Of course, If you have a MEDICAL EMERGENCY requiring emergency medical treatment related to an on the job injury outside of normal operating hours AND your supervisor is not available, please consider dialing 911 or seek medical treatment before sending the text. Always advise medical personnel that you experienced an on the job injury.
If you have a NON-EMERGENCY question relating to an on the job injury, I will respond to your email/phone call in the order it was received.
