    Overview of Course:

The purpose of Physics is to provide students with a rigorous study of how the world works around us. Physics is a science that deals with matter and energy and their interactions through forces that result in changes in motion.

    Required Materials:

    • 3-ring, binder; lined paper
    • Composition notebook
    • Blue or black pens, pencils
    • Computer and online access
    • earphone for computer
    • Various around the house objects

    Class Attendance

Students are expected to come to class prepared with all materials and work that is due that day. Students who are absent from class and/or lab are responsible for making up the covered material and the assignment given.

    Behavior

To ensure a good learning environment for all students, proper behavior is expected at all times. This includes respect for others, as well as, respect for property.

    “Weekly Review” Assignments

“Weekly Review” assignments are set up to encourage all students to review the material learned in class. All incorrect responses MUST be corrected to receive credit for the grade earned. If corrections are not submitted, students will receive a zero for that assignment. Students are given one week to complete each assignment. The lowest “weekly assignment” score during a marking period will be dropped.
