  • Cedar Hill ISD is ready to press start on the new eSports program.

eSports officially stands for electronic sports, but should not be confused with video games. It’s much more than that. What sets it apart is the level of organized competitive game play between teams and its own strict set of rules and guidelines. eSports is about teamwork, communication, strategic thinking, and leadership — in all the same ways that traditional sports are and then some.

To help the district in planning, scholars who are interested in participating in an eSports league, are asked to complete the interest form. If you have questions about the planned program, please email Tyesha Lowe, Executive Director of Innovation at tyesha.lowe@chisd.net. If you are not a current CHISD student, you can still participate by applying for a school transfer here.
