    Pursuant to Senate Bill 9 ALL employees MUST be fingerprinted prior to start of employment. Fingerprinting fees will be paid for by the employee and not by the school district.  



    Applicants recommended for classroom aide positions must meet the “Highly Qualified” status “No Child Left Behind Act” (NCLB) from the Texas Education Agency (TEA), you will need to provide a college transcript confirming a minimum of 48 completed hours.  If the recommended classroom aide does not have college hours, our Human Resources Staffing Specialist will schedule them for a Math, Reading and Writing paraprofessional assessment and must pass with a score of 70 or higher.

    The recommended classroom aide will also need to apply for the Paraprofessional Certificate from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Fees for the Educational Aide are paid by the candidate and candidates must reapply with Texas Education Agency (TEA) every two years.
