I am currently a librarian at Highlands and Lake Ridge Elementary Schools. 2019-2020 begins my 6th year with Cedar Hill ISD.  This year also begins my 36th year as an educator.  I taught elementary grades Pre K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd  general education for approximately 10 years before becoming a librarian.  This will be my 26th year as a librarian.  I am so happy to be here and excited to be working with our awesome library aid, Mrs. Jennifer Gilbert.  Please find out more about Mrs. Gilbert in the section titled "About Your Library Aid".  I want to encourage our children, their families and teachers to utilize the many resources at their fingertips in our school libraries. The library is a GREAT place to be and can take you on many adventures both real and imaginary! I look forward to many more years of serving as your LIBRARIAN!!
