Degrees and Certifications:
ABOUT OUR PRINCIPAL
William Davis is entering his eleventh year in education and seventh year as an administrator. Before coming to WOE in 2019, he served as an elementary principal in Jasper ISD.
Over the course of his educational career, he coached and taught Social Studies in Marlin ISD and taught Science in Connally ISD.
As an instructional leader, I pride myself on working with teachers to dig into their data and make instructional adjustments to the curriculum. Our goal is to take those data points and be intentional in our planning, instruction and remediation. I aim to work closely with the Waterford Oaks learning community of parents, families, and community members to ensure that Waterford Oaks continues to be the best learning environment for the students of Cedar Hill ISD.
Mr. Davis received his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas, his master's degree in Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University, and his Superintendent's certificate from Stephen F. Austin State University.
He is happily married to Lyndsie, the Transition Specialist for the CHISD Special Education department, and they have three children. Audra is an 8th grader at Bessie Coleman, William a 4th grader at Waterford Oaks, and Asher who just turned one years old.
