Longhorn Essentials

  • Every CHISD scholar, Pre-K through 12th grade, is accountable for Longhorn Essentials, or 10 expectations, including making eye contact when someone is speaking, respecting others, standing to answer questions, learning from mistakes and moving on, and being the best person you can be. These qualities aren’t graded on standardized tests but make a difference in job interviews and other real-world situations.
