Ms. Trinity Ward

Hello Longhorn Family!

I am a native of Mississippi and this is my tenth year as a Licensed Professional Counselor. This is also my fourth year as a Professional School Counselor. During my time in Mississippi, I earned my B.S. in Psychology, M.S. in Counseling Psychology, and Ed.S in School Counseling. I am also a National Certified Counselor, and National Board Certified School Counselor. I feel fortunate to bring my experience of working with various populations in the education and mental health sector. Academics have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. I love to read and I love to LEARN. Learning never stops. I also love to volunteer my time. I am a firm believer in giving to others, because there is so much self fulfillment returned.

My role as a school counselor has been rewarding, and I am excited to work with students, teachers, and our administrative team. My belief is as a school counselor it is my obligation to always encourage and push ALL students to strive and achieve their goals. Please review the ways in which I can support our scholars:

Individual student academic planning

School counseling classroom lessons based on student success standards

Short-term counseling to students

Referrals for long term support

Collaboration with families, teachers, administrators, and community for student success

Advocacy for students at individual plan and student related meetings

Data analysis to identify student issues, needs, and challenges

Have a great year, and I am available to assist in any way I can!
