Hello Longhorn Family!

     I am a native of Mississippi and this is my sixteenth year in the field of counseling and education. During my time in Mississippi, I earned my B.S. in Psychology, M.S. in Counseling Psychology, and Ed.S in School Counseling. I am also a National Certified Counselor, and National Board Certified School Counselor. I feel fortunate to bring my experience of working with various populations in the education and mental health sector. Academics have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. I love to read and I love to LEARN. Learning never stops. Middle school is an exciting time for students and parents. This is described as the passage from childhood to adolescence. As you can see from my picture, we all have to go through middle school. I have fond memories of attending middle school, and my hope is that you will too. 

     My role as a school counselor has been rewarding, and I am excited to work with students, teachers, and our administrative team. As a school counselor, it is my obligation to always encourage and push ALL students to strive and achieve their goals.
