Greetings Longhorns!

I am excited to join the Bessie Coleman family as the 8th grade Social Studies department chair. This year marks my 15^th year in education. Prior to coming to Coleman, I worked in Dallas ISD, Crowley ISD and the Diocese of Fort Worth teaching Social Studies, English, Science, Math and Spanish.  I am happy to be back home, as I am a graduate of Cedar Hill High class of 2001!

Middle school students should expect to grow in their interpretive and communicative skills as we journey through the rich history of the United States from 1607 to 1887.  I look forward to working with all our students and parents for a wonderful year.
