Cedar Hill ISD, Unlocking every Longhorn's potential.
-
Cedar Hill ISD is a diverse school district that prepares every scholar by unlocking their potential and channeling it toward a successful pathway. CHISD was founded in 1904 and is the premiere school district in the Best Southwest region of Dallas.
Our scholars have graduated and enrolled at top-level universities such as Yale and MIT; and have served in the military honorably, while others have made the immediate transition to a successful career.
Cedar Hill ISD is known near and far for its athletic success, including three state football championships and multiple state appearances by our basketball teams.
When it comes to fine arts, few can match the performances of our Cedar Hill Marching Band or the choir program.
Cedar Hill ISD provides the popular Collegiate Pathway, which culminates with scholars earning an Associate’s Degree as 12th graders. In our Early College High School at Cedar Hill High School scholars participate in advanced academics and extracurricular activities. Computer Programming, Fine Arts and Montessori are available at our elementary schools.
