Ms. Brittani Griffin
I am Brittani Griffin, the proud School Counselor at High Pointe Elementary. This will be my 2nd year at High Pointe and I could not have asked for a better school and community! Thank you for partnering with us to ensure that our scholars experience the best each and every day.
I graduated from Dallas ISD and received my Bachelor's of Science in History with a minor in Education from Texas Woman's University in 2011. I began teaching elementary in Dallas in 2012 and became a 1st grade teacher in Cedar Hill in 2015. From there I received my Masters in School Counseling from Lamar University in 2018 and became a School Counselor in Duncanville ISD in 2020. In 2022 I returned to Cedar Hill ISD as the new counselor at High Pointe, it's true what they say: Once a Longhorn, always a Longhorn.
As a School Counselor I am here to provide support to all members of the High Pointe School community. My counseling program follows the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling. Utilizing this model allows me to prioritize in class guidance lessons, small group and individual counseling, consultations with stakeholders and the ability to properly plan & evaluate the program consistently.
I look forward to this school year being a great one. I am one call or email away if you ever need anything.
