About Me:

Hello Coleman Longhorns!

I am Zaire Smith and I joined the Bessie Coleman faculty August 25th, 2021.

By way of introduction, I was raised as an “Army brat”, having lived in multiple places in the United States to include Alabama, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, and Texas.  I have also enjoyed the privilege of living abroad in South Korea.  As a result, I offer to your Scholar a diversity of experiences, locations, and people interactions to support and encourage their learning.  I graduated in 2019 from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor of Science degree and had the strong support of my parents and family, at large, who consistently promoted the importance of learning and achieving a college degree which could never be taken away from me.  I hope to instill that same desire for learning into your Scholar in partnership with you!

I will make every effort to stay in touch with you and I hope that you will do the same with me.  There are many distractions that challenge children of today and it will take significant effort to overcome them, at times.  In the classroom, you and your Scholar can expect me to promote an entertaining, serious, fun, and disciplined learning environment they can benefit from and enjoy.

If you would like to meet in person or via phone concerning your Scholar(s), I am always available for you.  I can always be reached in person at the school or via email at or by phone at 972-293-4505 ext. 8326.  Otherwise, I sincerely look forward to helping your Child(ren) in our Language Arts program this academic year.  I also look forward to meeting and partnering with you as we prepare them for their best days ahead.
