About Me:

Noah Ornelas is entering his 2nd year of teaching in the Cedar Hill Independent School District at Bessie Coleman Middle School. Before coming to Cedar Hill ISD, he student taught at Seguin High School and Weinert Elementary in Seguin, Texas.

Mr. Ornelas attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Studies. He studied under Dr. Vanguel Tangarov, Professor Matthew Holzner, Professor Jordan Stern, Dr. Kyle Glaser, Dr. John Denis, Dr. Jacob Harrison, and Dr. Caroline Beatty. He was a part of the Clarinet Choir, Symphonic Winds, Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, and the Bobcat Marching Band.

At Bessie Coleman, Mr. Ornelas conducts the Symphonic Band and assists with the Honor Band. He also teaches beginning clarinet, flute, double reeds, percussion, and saxophone classes. His professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and International Clarinet Association.

In his free time, Mr. Ornelas likes to spend time with his family, sing karaoke, read, and travel to new places.
