Katey is from Dallas, TX, where she has trained in precision, concert, and commercial dance. She is a graduate of Booker T. Washington HS for the Performing and Visual Arts and a graduate of Studio School Los Angeles at Los Angeles Center Studios with a BFA in Commercial Dance. Katey has trained with many renowned choreographers and has been featured in several music videos, as well as the movie Step Up: All In. Katey traveled to Osaka, Japan, with the Texas All-Star Dance Team as a dancer and choreographer. She is a freelance choreographer for many state and national winning teams in hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary, and is currently on staff at Highland Park Dance Company. She is also not a stranger to the Highsteppers! She has choreographed several of the award-winning Highsteppers officer hip-hop routines! She has worked for American Dance Drill Team since 2015, serving as instructional staff for line and officer camps. She has served as choreographer, instructor, leadership curriculum facilitator, and camp and contest adjudicator. Katey is current the captain of the Frisco Fighters Bombshell dancers for the new indoor football league in Frisco.
