Hello Collegiate Prep Families!
Despite the global pandemic and Texas winter storms, the Collegiate Prep staff are "Horns Up For the Challenge" of serving the needs of our families, virtually and in person. As we navigate our learning environments, with patience and determination, our goal remains the same: provide a learning experience that is engaging and precise in the academic and social development and growth of each scholar. We look forward to serving the needs of our families, this final Marking Period of the 2020-2021 school year.
My husband and I have been married for twenty-four years, May 2021, and have three adult children who are our pride and joy!
We reside in Desoto and have a beautiful nine-year-old husky-border collie mix named Bleu.
I have served in the Cedar Hill Independent School District since January 2012 in many capacities and on various elementary campuses.
As a classroom teacher, I met the academic needs of scholars through effective TIER 1, 2 and 3 instruction.
As an Instructional Coach/Academic Interventionist, I provided professors with supports and resources to aid in best practices in instructional delivery, while responding to scholars' academic needs.
As the full-time campus administrator, it is my pleasure to serve the campus as Instructional Leader, overseer of daily operations, and the first line of contact for campus and community members to resolve conflict surrounding educational priorities and issues.
I have had a vast array of experiences and am anticipating furthering my expertise while adding to the tradition of excellence in Cedar Hill ISD.
It's a GREAT DAY to be a Longhorn!
