We would like to ensure that arrival and dismissal is a smooth process for our scholars and families.

Arrival-Doors will open early at 7:45 a.m. on the first two days of school (Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16). For the remainder of the school year, the doors will open at 7:45 a.m. 

Parents and guardians will be allowed to enter the building on the first day of school to walk their scholar to their classroom. However, beyond the first day, this will not be allowed.  We don’t want to disrupt the traffic flow during drop-off.  Therefore,  if you would like to walk your scholar into the building on the first day of school please park in the parking lot.  

Tardies: Students will be counted present between 7:45 a.m. and 8:05 a.m. Any student arriving after 8:06 a.m. will be counted tardy. We want to ensure that families have an opportunity to adjust to the start of school and will not begin formally documenting tardies until Monday, August 22. 

Dismissal-We will begin dismissal promptly at 3:35. Bus riders and walkers will be dismissed from the gym, and daycare students will be dismissed from door 18. Both exits are located at the front of the building

Car riders will dismiss from the front door and the gate near the front of the building. Scholars will only be released to load their vehicles from the car loading zone. Our loading zone extends from the front of the building to the gate. We ask that all vehicles pull up to the front gate that spells BRAY, and we will have staff on hand to further assist in directing traffic.

For safety reasons, we will not allow students to load vehicles from the grass or the 2nd lane. . Please note that dismissal ends at 3:45 p.m. In the event that a scholar has not been picked up by this time, the parent or guardian will need to come inside the building to pick up his or her scholar in the front office. 

**FOR YOUR SAFETY, PLEASE NOTE THAT BENNETT STREET THAT RUNS IN FRONT OF BRAY IS A ONE WAY STREET. 

**Any changes to how your child will be going home must be made by 2:45.  No student will be dismissed from the office after 3:15 since this is a transition time for us.  

*If your child attends the Right at School, you must come inside and sign them out.
