Mr. Richard Anderson

I teach Pre-AP Biology here at Cedar Hill Collegiate High School. This is my 3rd year as a teacher and I have spent this time in the collegiate program. I am very proud of my students for their diligence and resilience, and I am impressed and amazed by their work ethic, curiosity, and sense of social responsibility. As an educator, I strive to help them:

•  further develop intrinsic motivation for learning

•  build upon their current critical thinking skills

•  connect classroom learning to real world issues and opportunities

I strive to maintain consistent and regular communication with parents so that they are knowledgeable of classroom activities, upcoming assignments, student performance, and any other announcements for my class. Parents, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me via email or phone with any questions, concerns or comments.

I am dedicated to teaching scholars to expect excellence from themselves on a daily basis, and more importantly to know they can attain excellence with hard work and focused dedication.
