Mission Statement The Cedar Hill ISD Extended Day Program is dedicated to providing a
safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children before and
after the school day. Recognizing that all children are unique, we will
strive to help them reach their full potential as responsible citizens in
our culturally diverse community.
Goals of the Program
The goals of the Extended Day Program are as follows:
To provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children in a quality after-school program.
To provide activities that meet the cognitive, social, physical and emotional needs of the children.
To provide on-going training to the facility staff.
To utilize school and district resources and personnel to strengthen the program.
To develop and maintain a close working relationship with the school.
To communicate clearly with parents, staff, and school.
General Information
Eligibility--Children enrolled in the Extended Day Program must be kindergarten through
fourth grade in the Cedar Hill ISD. All children are accepted without regard to race, creed,
nationality, gender, religion or special need.
The Extended Day Program is administered and coordinated by the Office of Student Support
and Community Services. The Program follows and adheres to all policies and procedures of
Cedar Hill ISD.
